Nanlibre nga pala ako ng hapunan sa YakiMIX nung isang araw kaya namulubi ako. (I treat my family dinner at YakiMIX so I got poor.) I actually threw Kuya Atoy (older brother) a small despedida since he’s leaving to Spain for a year. He got a scholarship from the Spanish government, you know. Yeah. Such a lucky guy. That means, he’s gonna be living and studying there all by himself which I think is pretty cool but lonely. But I know he will do well ‘cause we’re both used to changes and multicultural environment besides the fact that the Spanish language comes naturally to us.
Bueno, Español ha sido mi segunda lenguaje, eh? He vivido e estudiado en Santiago de Chile, fui de vacaciones en España por cuantas veces donde tuve que hacer mi practica de trabajo y he hecho trabajos como una traductora aqui en Filipinas.
(In English: Well, Spanish has been my second language, eh? I’ve lived and studied in Santiago, Chile, went to Spain for vacation many times where I also did my internship and I’ve worked as a translator here in the Philippines.)
I enjoyed our little salo-salo. I really do. Too bad we do these things because he’s leaving. We haven’t spent much time together since we’re living our own lives now. He’s busy with his business while I’m busy with studies. I simply wish my brother all the best.
By the way, while walking around SM Masinag, I saw this huge mug saying, “I (heart) my Lolo & Lola.” So I grabbed Tatay Ben with me and handed Carlo Miguel the camera so he could take us a picture. Oh I just love that day.
Unfortunately, my day didn’t end very well. After dinner, my right eye became a bit itchy and felt that it was gonna swell. I tried not to think about it but it felt really stingy. I actually went to the doctor earlier to get my eye checked ‘cause it was really swollen. He said it could be allergy ‘cause there was nothing wrong with my “eye”. There was something wrong with my eye lids and the surrounding skin so he prescribed me a medication for allergy. I hope I get better tomorrow. I wouldn’t want to attend class with sunnies!
