I felt a little lonely when I woke up today. I knew something was different. When I went down to the kitchen for breakfast, it was only me and my mom in the house. My sister Agatha already left for school. It was her first day! I failed to see how excited she was, with her uniform and all her school stuff. I failed to take her picture. Damn it!
You see guys, my parents and little sister just came back from the US last December. If you were following me long enough, you’d know that, my dad was assigned to the Philippine Mission to the United Nations, New York. My sister was then schooling at Dickinson Highschool in New Jersey. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to finish it ‘cause they had to get back here. Since then, she just stayed here at home for the past five (5) months, ‘cause in the Philippines, the school year starts at June. She spent the days singing, watching music videos on YouTube, reading Filipino books and attending music classes where she’d play her precious clarinet. I’d hear our pitbulls sing along with her whenever she practiced here at home. They were really cute.
Luckily, she was able to get in a good all-girls-school located somewhere in Marikina. I’m very excited to see her later when she comes back from school. I heard her (transport) service came in early than the settled time. The driver said that the other kids were prepared early. Maybe because it was their first day and everyone’s excited. Hahaha!
