Sep 21 / 1 note / Food Diary: Life is Like a Box of Oatmeal Cookies

Who ever said life is like a box of chocolates never had the chance to try a box of oatmeal cookies from Our Sweet Intentions.

You see, I have this good friend who celebrated his birthday recently. I politely [ahem] asked him, “pa-cookie ka naman!” which he in turn handled me this box full of the cutest small but chunky oatmeal cookies I’ve ever seen.

I apologize for the crappy photos taken by my entry level Android phone. They don’t do the cookies any justice. No (auto) focus at all. *hand on my head*

I present you Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies. These babies smelled like heaven upon opening the box. Sobrang bango lang nya nung binuksan ko ung lalagyan, promise. Right then and there, I knew they (the cookies) were good. Ano kayang magic ang nilagay mo dito Mervs? Ha ha ha!

A cookie can perfectly sit on my palm. Well, it looked and smelled like an oatmeal cookie but the best part is that, when I took a bite, I felt like I was eating a muffin.

Most of the (oatmeal) cookies I’ve tried were dry and hard but this one wasn’t. It was soft. Even though it doesn’t really look like it. Walang masasayang sa cookie kasi hindi sya makalat kapag kinagat mo. Malambot kasi sya. Sulit!

Also, the cookie wasn’t that sweet. It was perfect for people who like to eat sweets but not ‘that’ sweet. If you know what I mean. Since I am that kind of person, I found these pretty little things perfect.

You see guys, you never know what you’re gonna get with a box of chocolates but with a box of oatmeal cookies from Our Sweet Intentions, you know you’re getting the good stuff.

They are sold as seen in the pictures for 15php each but if you want, you can have them coated with dark or white chocolate coating or can even make a personal message—one letter per cookie. The price may vary depending on the design you want.

For orders or questions, feel free to visit their Facebook Page:

Our Sweet IntentionsWhatever your mind can imagine, we can bake it in the oven.

Special thanks to Mervin Fernando and happy birthday again!

Thanks for reading guys!
